I’ve had an opportunity to hear the whole album already and I have to say I’m enjoying it tremendously.
Here’s the tracklist:
1. “No Line on the Horizon” 4:12
2. “Magnificent” 5:24
3. “Moment of Surrender” 7:24
4. “Unknown Caller” 6:03
5. “I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight” 4:14
6. “Get on Your Boots” 3:25
7. “Stand Up Comedy” 3:50
8. “Fez – Being Born” 5:17
9. “White as Snow” 4:41
10. “Breathe” 5:00
11. “Cedars of Lebanon” 4:13
53:43
Stand outs: the eponymous intro track has a great boingy guitar that sucked me in right away. Moment of Surrender delivers. Stand Up Comedy has the greatest line: “the right to be ridiculous is something I hold dear”. White as Snow recalls The Hands that Built America from the Gangs of New York soundtrack.
Plus, Breathe:
16th of June, 9:05, door bell rings, man at the door says if you want to stay alive a bit longer there’s just three things I need you to know, three!
Coming from a long line of traveling sales people on my mother’s side I wasn’t gonna buy just anyone’s cockatoo, so why would I invite a complete stranger into my home?
…would you?
